Society Profile

The Chinese Society of Immunology (CSI) located in Taipei, Taiwan, was established in 1978. CSI serves as a platform for connecting professionals both domestically and internationally. Its mission is to facilitate knowledge exchange, advance the field of immunology, and promote academic research and development. In September 1984, CSI was formally recognized as the 33rd member of the International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS) through a formal vote.

Currently, CSI has a membership of over 900 individuals and engages in a wide range of academic and service-oriented activities. The Society organizes an annual conference and scientific symposium, which include lectures delivered by distinguished international scholars. The official journal of CSI is the Journal of Microbiology, Immunology, and Infection.
