Two Immunologists Win 2018 Nobel Prize!

IUIS congratulates James Allison and Tasuku Honjo on their Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2018 “for their discovery of cancer therapy by inhibition of negative immune regulation.” The prize recognises the fundamental immunology research that led to the introduction of immune checkpoint inhibitors for cancer treatment.
