The Gender Equality Committee (GEC) of the IUIS is working to improve gender equity in the immunology discipline worldwide. 

We are calling for nominations to join the GEC, with the aim of equal representation of all genders coming from all geographic areas of member societies, which will help us to best serve all immunological societies globally. For this purpose, we ask you to share this call with your members and to send nominations of interested and engaged immunologists by filling out the attached “Expression of Interest form”. Please note that this form needs to be filled out by the candidate. Prospective new members must demonstrate experience and/or expertise in gender equity policy, advocacy, or research.

The current GEC together with representatives of the IUIS council and/or other IUIS committees will then decide on the best candidates, to be finally approved by the Executive Committee of the IUIS.
