The International Union of Immunological Societies congratulates Professor Roslyn Kemp on being awarded the Derrick Rowley Medal for Service by the Australian and New Zealand Society for Immunology (ASI). The medal was presented at the ASI Annual Meeting in Perth, Australia, in recognition of her outstanding and sustained service to the Society and to the discipline of immunology. A member of ASI since 1998, Professor Kemp has demonstrated long-standing leadership and commitment to advancing equity and excellence in immunology.
Prof. Kemp has contributed significantly to global immunology policy, particularly in gender equity, open access, and publishing practices. Her initiatives have included promoting gender and geographical equity at international conferences, supporting mentoring programmes for women in immunology, and strengthening global representation within the field. IUIS warmly congratulates Professor Kemp on this well-deserved recognition.
