10th Congress of the Latin American Association of Immunology

 

Message from Prof. Kaufmann, IUIS President:

Dear President, Vice President, Secretary and all members of the Asociación Latino Americana de Inmunología,
Dear Doctors Aguilar, Mendoza, Pareja,
Dear colleagues and friends of the Latin American immunology community,

I am pleased to hear that the 10th Congress of the Asociación Latino Americana de Inmunología will take place in Lima, Peru in June 2012. Your congress will be next year’s the most important immunology event in Latin America.

To further strengthen science and the visibility of your congress, the International Union of Immunological Societies will hold its 2012 Executive Board Meeting back to back with this congress.

As President of the International Union of Immunological Societies, I am proud and honored to participate in both events.

I am looking forward to superb science, ranging from basic research to medical application; from young students to experienced researchers; from academic research to industry.

Given Latin America’s wonderful hospitality, I am convinced that this congress will not only be a scientific highlight, but also a brilliant opportunity for social activities, bringing together researchers from Latin America and the rest of the world. This will strengthen existing friendships and foster new ones.
I am eagerly looking forward to meeting you all at the 10th Congress of the Asociación Latino Americana de Inmunología in Lima, Peru. Thank you so much for letting me participate in this exciting event.
