Committee Activities 2010/2011
GECD co-sponsored with FOCIS the attendance of Dr. Deepika Kanojia, from the Institute of Immunology, India, at an advanced FOCIS immunology course in February 2011. Dr. Kanojia is beginning to take on increasing supervisory and leadership responsibilites in the group of Dr. Anil Suri here she trained as a PhD student. The course provided her with en opportunity to make contacts with her peers around the world and the faculty with whom she can continue to keep in contact for further career mentoring opportunity.
