IUIS Invites Bids to Host the 21st Congress of the International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS2031)

IUIS is currently accepting bids from member national societies to host the 21st Congress of the International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS2031). The Congress historically brings together 2500-6000 leading immunology experts and rising stars from around the world, offering a prominent platform to showcase innovative research and ground-breaking developments.

Because the IUIS Congress was held in Africa in 2023 and will take place in Europe in 2025, and in North America in 2028, we are specifically soliciting proposals from societies in the Asia-Pacific and Latin America regions for 2031. If your national society is interested in submitting a bid, this document fully describes the application process. Note the following deadlines:

Stage 1Deadline for submission of Letter of interest20 May 2025
Stage 2Submission of Full Bids31 July 2025
Stage 3Decision of Shortlisted Bids18 August 2025
Stage 4IUIS Council decides on IUIS 2031 host city and decision is ratified by the General AssemblyQ4 2025
