To ensure broadest participation, the deadline for candidate nominations is now extended to 23:59 CEST on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
As an IUIS member, you are entitled to nominate yourself or a fellow IUIS member for any of following leadership positions:
- 2025-2028 Executive Committee (Vice-President, Secretary General and Treasurer)
- 2025-2028 Council

Criteria for candidates:
Worthy candidates will have demonstrated scientific leadership in their field of immunology and successful management experience at an international level. The IUIS promotes gender parity and diverse regional representation therefore nominations should reflect this commitment.
It is important to note that for Executive Committee officer nominations, the candidate should have no other organizational role that presents itself as a conflict of interest to the duties entrusted to IUIS Executive Committee Members.
Nomination Process
Members can self-nominate or be nominated by another member of the IUIS. Nominations should be sent to info@iuis.org, addressed to Secretary General, by 23:59 CEST on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The nomination statement and the nominee’s current CV, including email address, should be sent as a single pdf file.
Nominations will be considered by our 2025 Election Committee. All eligible candidates will be presented to the 20th IUIS General Assembly for election on Monday, August 18, from 11:00 to 13:00 in Vienna.
