CALL FOR EXPERTS: IUIS-Frontiers in Immunology Webinar Series on COVID-19

March 13, 2020

Given the speed at which the spread of COVID-19 is developing and the urgent need for information in this area, we are planning to have biweekly interview/webinars with an expert in the field. It will be hosted on the Frontiers in Immunology platform and would then be circulated though our existing networks.

The theme of each webinar would then form the basis of a collection of “Coronavirus Update IUIS – Frontiers in Immunology” Research Topics. The benefit practically and technologically of setting these up in the form of a Research Topic page is that each webinar would then have its own dedicated resource webpage, so the relevant communities can then interact and comment on the theme. It would additionally allow for some quality control peer review measures to ensure no incorrect information is shared. People would be able to submit abstracts, commentaries, policy briefs etc. around the theme of the webinar/collection.

We kindly ask our members with the expertise to get involved in the project – submit your abstracts for webinars and for IUIS/Frontiers COVID-19 research topics!
