Apply for the 2019 Michelson Prizes

The Human Vaccines Project is pleased to announce the launch of the 2019 Michelson Prizes. The Michelson Prizes are scientific awards of $150,000 given annually to investigators under age 35 who are applying disruptive research concepts to advance the development of vaccines and immunotherapies for major global diseases.
The 2019 Michelson Prizes have been expanded to include three focus areas:
• Human Immunology
• Computational Biology and Protein Engineering
• Neglected Parasitic Diseases
Applications are now being accepted. The deadline to apply is October 29, 2018.
While the Michelson Prizes are focused on research outcomes in the fields of vaccine and immunotherapy discovery, applicants from the full spectrum of cross-disciplinary areas (including clinical research, protein engineering, machine learning/AI,  imaging, computer science, bioengineering, nanotechnology, and others) are encouraged to apply.
