During the one-to-one membership consultations, many ISC Members wished to strengthen networking with scientists from the Global South. The ISC Regional Office for Africa, in collaboration with the Academy of Science of South Africa, has launched the African Scientists Directory. The online directory provides information on African experts in the fields of natural and social sciences as well as humanities, engineering and mathematics to facilitate the free flow of scientific knowledge across borders and to promote the formation of scientific societies, academies and sub-regional partnerships within and beyond the continent. We encourage ISC Members based in Africa and with scientific expertise to join the directory.
