IUIS and EFIS continue to work together to involve all regional and national immunological societies in a global effort to promote the benefits of immunology research on the International Day of Immunology, celebrated every year on April 29.

The two organizations have traditionally awarded prizes to the most compelling awareness campaigns to motivate societies and members to engage in outreach. In 2024, it was decided to enhance the competition by awarding prizes to the top three international and three European campaigns, selected based on originality, creativity, clarity, and impact at a national or regional level.

IUIS is honored to grant their 2024 Day of Immunology Awards to the campaigns submitted by:

• 1^st place: Argentinian Society of Immunology
• 2^nd place: Cuban Immunology Society
• 3^rd place: Brazilian Society of Immunology

EFIS is delighted to announce that their 2024  Day of Immunology Awards go to the campaigns submitted by:

• 1^st place: Norwegian Society for Immunology
• 2^nd place: Czech Immunological Society
• 3^rd place: Italian Society for Immunology, Clinical Immunology and Allergology

The awards come with cash prizes of EUR 3,000, EUR 2,000, and EUR 1,000, respectively.

Congratulations to our prize-winners, and thanks to all societies that participated in initiatives aimed at strengthening the general public’s awareness of immunology as a basis for individual health and well-being.
