2018 ACTERIA Prizes

The call for applications for the 2018 ACTERIA Prizes awarded by EFIS is now open!

Together with the Fondation ACTERIAACTing on European Research in Immunology and Allergology – EFIS will award a total of 4 prizes – 2 for immunology and 2 for allergology – for the best doctoral theses defended in the last 3 years and for early career researchers with up to 10 years postdoctoral experience.
The ACTERIA Doctoral Prizes carry a cash award of €15,000, while the ACTERIA Early Career Research Prizes amount to €25,000 each. In addition, awardees will automatically become eligible for 3-year research grants of up to €50,000 annually.

Applications are now invited from eligible European immunologists and allergologists!

Following the application submission deadline – December 31st, 2017 – candidates’ applications will be forwarded to the EFIS-affiliated National Society to which they belong. Thereafter, Societies – entrusted with the task of establishing their own selection/nomination panels – will formulate a maximum of 4 nominations to be submitted to the ACTERIA Prizes Selection Jury.

Prize winners will be announced by no later than April 15th, 2018.
