This Fall, FOCIS will be hosting the first FOCIS Research and Education Virtual Symposium, which will take place on September 26, 2024. Registration is open to all (FOCIS members, FCEs, Member Society members, the general FOCIS community, industry partners, and nonmember clinical/translational immunologists).
The learning objectives are:
- To understand the impact of differential mitochondrial metabolism on macrophages,
- To determine the beneficial effects of anti-inflammatory therapies in ischemia/reperfusion injury in the heart,
- To evaluate the contribution of alveolar T cells in lung injury,
- And to leverage naturally occurring mutations that increase T cell fitness to overcome immunosuppressive tumor micro-environments.
