Day of Immunology 2025

Tuesday 29th April 2025

IUIS and EFIS invite all international societies to join us this year to honor the Day of Immunology on April 29. This year’s topic is “Brain and Immunity: Immunological Insights into Neurological Disorders.”

2025 Day of Immunology Webinar

Mark your calendars for an insightful webinar on the Day of Immunology, April 29, 2025 and join us for an in-depth exploration of how the immune system shapes brain function and contributes to neurological disorders. 2024 Day of Immunology Awards

In addition to the webinar, we once again call for campaigns to raise awareness on the critical topic of neuroimmunology. Your participation is the key to spreading knowledge and fostering health practices.

You can find more information about how to implement the campaigns and apply for the Day of Immunology Awards here.

Similar to last year, we will have Day of Immunology European Award and Day of Immunology International Award. Each award will honor three societies who run most outstanding awareness campaigns. The awards will be as follows:

– Day of Immunology European Award, by EFIS: EUR 3,000, EUR 2,000, and EUR 1,000 to the first, second and third most impactful campaigns

– Day of Immunology International Award, by IUIS: EUR 3,000, EUR 2,000, and EUR 1,000 to the first, second and third most impactful campaigns

Make sure to designate a person among your staff or members to be the “Ambassador” for the campaign that you will develop and implement. Your Ambassador should contact IUIS by sending an email to info@iuis.org and letting IUIS know that they will be the contact person for all information regarding your campaign.

Then you should submit an application with a short description of your campaign’s action plan explaining what you are planning to do by March 30, 2025. Design a campaign and implement it to take place on or around the Day of Immunology, April 29

After your campaign is complete: Submit a report, which should include what you did, an estimate of how many people you reached, and what were some of the major results. Make sure to include some pictures of your campaign along the final report. Submit the detailed report to info@iuis.org.

Please note that the deadline for submitting the final report on your campaigns is May 29, 2025. The winners will be announced in early July.
