Endorsements will only be allowed under the following circumstances:

  1. They must come from one of  the designated bodies/individuals who are indicated in IUIS Constitution article 3.4.1 as eligible to nominate candidates (e.g. Member Societies, Council and General Assembly Members – see IUIS Constitution article 4.2.1).
  2. The 2019 General Assembly list will be posted by September 13th, 2019 on the IUIS website here.
  3. All endorsements must be received by the IUIS Central Office (iuis-central-office@kit-group.org) by September 30th, 2019.
  4. A list of endorsements will then be added to the bottom of each profile on the candidate overview document provided online.

Here is the Agenda for the General Assembly (changes may occur before October 19th, 2019).

Please note that during the General Assembly only candidates for the Officer positions will be given 3 minutes to address the General Assembly. Candidates for Council Member positions will only have their names read aloud with their photo, title, affiliation and endorsement presented in slide form. No time will be given to Council Member candidates to address the General Assembly.
