Post-Doctoral position in Immunology available at the Laboratory of Lung Inflammation and Immunology of the Ribeirao Preto Medical School, University of Sao Paulo (FMRP-USP). The selected researcher will work on the thematic project Strategies to study lung inflammation in the context of comorbidities, more specifically with the sub project that involves the comorbidity obesity and tuberculosis, evaluating the role of a specific Probiotic.
The scientific profile we are looking for is a person who has completed a PhD in immunology, and who has obtained the title of Doctor less than seven years ago in Brazil or abroad. We are looking for a person who has initiative, discipline and is organized; who knows how to work independently and in a team. Experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, cell biology, mouse model is required. Candidates must submit their application by March 15th, 2024 including a cover letter, two letters of recommendation, and an updated CV. The position is open to Brazilian and foreign researchers. The value of the post-doctoral scholarship is R$ 9.047.40 and a Technical Reserve (RT) equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the scholarship to cover expenses directly related to the respective research project.
