IUIS Statement on Ukraine

March 4, 2022

The International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS) expresses its deep concern about the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Ukraine and fully supports the International Science Council Statement in this regard. We express solidarity with our Member Society, the Ukrainian Society for Allergy, Immunology and Immunorehabilitation, and are dismayed at the grave situation our Ukrainian colleagues and their families find themselves in, with not just their freedom at risk but also their lives.

The IUIS embraces Immunology without Borders and has a long history of uniting scientists across the globe. We strongly condemn the violence and join scientists and all global citizens in calling for the immediate restoration of peace.
