The IUIS Early Career Committee (ECC) is thrilled to announce the formation of its inaugural board, which will spearhead the activities of the IUIS Junior Community (JC). First launched in 2023, the JC began its journey during the IUIS2023 conference in Cape Town, and just one year later, we are proud to have gathered a dynamic team of passionate individuals representing all regional federations, including ALACI, EFIS, FAIS, FIMSA, as well as AAI and CSI.
Led by ECC Chairs Dr. Noushin Mossadegh-Keller and Dr. Anne Hahn, we are eager to collaborate with the newly appointed ECC board members to further develop the IUIS JC’s activities. Our mission is to support early and mid-career immunologists globally, providing them with opportunities to grow, connect, and thrive in the field of immunology. A key focus for the coming year will be enhancing early-career representation across IUIS, as well as regional and national immunology societies. The inaugural board will serve until the next IUIS congress which will take place in Vienna in 2025. Please join us in welcoming all board members and feel free to reach out to either of them if you have questions or ideas around early-career immunologist activities in your region!
