During the past ten successful editions of the IWLH, which have seen the meeting travel throughout many European cities, we have seen more and more delegates joining us from all over the world.
From this international interest we have developed incredible collaboration with pulmonologists throughout Asia and, especially, in India. Recent IWLH meeting have been enriched by the presence of speakers, participants, and students from across India. The scientific programme has been designed to face the challenges, hot topics, and emerging Respiratory issues from across the world, with specific emphasis on real-life experiences in India and across the Asia-Pacific region. The main target is Specialists in Respiratory Medicine, but also trained nurses, physiotherapists, trainees, and students that can benefit from the active learning structure of the Workshop. During these two days and half workshop, participants will have the opportunity to interact with global expert at close proximity, discuss scientific approaches, share perspectives, improve their management of lung diseases and enrich their day-to-day clinical practice. Over the past 10 years, one of our primary goals has been dedicated to Young Clinicians and Researchers. This 1st Asian chapter of IWLH will continue this initiative by holding the Future Leaders Mentoring Programme (FuHeL) for Young Career Mentoring. The Rising Stars programme will also pursue as always opening up opportunities for young clinicians and researchers to present their valuable work to an international audience, often becoming part of a Congress faculty for their first time. |
