I am aware that the federal government has future unfunded liabilities estimated at $53 trillion. Please stop ignoring this problem. Please start reducing spending now. Balance the budget now. And start retiring the debt now so you can stop spending so much of my tax money on interest charges.
My personal comment to you:
"If we run into such debts, as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, give the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses; and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they now do, on oatmeal and potatoes; have no time to think, no means of calling the mismanagers to account; but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers."
To paraphrase the Thomas Jefferson quote above - when will people seperate themselves from their past and remedy their own mistakes?
To claim that our constitution isn't the smallest most compact democratic document in the known world would be a lie. Our founding fathers ingeniously created a subset of ideals which would allow for future expansion of all human activity while still keeping their ideals preserved. These rights include but aren't limited to the rights of all human beings to have their own representation of their own beliefs before they would be allowed to be taxed.
The I.R.S. is a government agency that works directly in conflict with this amendment. To shun our forefathers work with such blatent policy disregarding your own constituents right is blasphemous. The ideals these people espoused without fear, subsequently holding off the most powerful Navy in the world elevates these people to whole new status in history once their movement became succesful. For you to tell me that my opinion has no matter to you, and continuously you ignore my e-mails wherein I complain that I'm not being represented by your legislation.
This has to stop. You need to stop this. This is your obligation and duty.
